Our Vision is to become the leading supplier of Robust 3D products. Our initial focus is on the auto and semiconductor industries. COHERIX, INC. AWARDED A PHASE II SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION RESEARCH (SBIR) CONTRACT BY U.S. NAVAL WARFARE CENTER
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Coherix, Inc. of Ann Arbor has been awarded a Phase II Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contract by the U.S. Naval Warfare Center to develop a system for Surface Mapping of Corrosion on Complex Curved Surfaces. Coherix will apply its unique and proprietary 3-dimensional holographic metrology technology, previously delivered by Coherix for precision measurements in worldwide transportation industry manufacturing applications, to provide the Navy with the capability to detect and measure corrosion to the micron level of resolution.

Henry Ford Technology Award at
its annual gala
on November 19, 2009.
Coherix was honored for its development of ShaPix 3D High Definition
Holography for measurement addressing a strong Powertrain need by Ford.
This recognition is Ford’s highest technical achievement award. Coherix
and Ford implementation team members were acknowledged for their
efforts in the manufacturing category.

Volvo Finalizes Investment in Coherix

Volvo Technology Transfer AB of Göteborg, Sweden, has finalized an investment in Coherix, Inc. to accelerate the launch of Coherix’s European operations. Coherix develops high-tech systems to improve engine manufacturing quality.
The investment is part of a comprehensive, global expansion program launched by Coherix earlier this year, according to Dwight Carlson, the company’s chairman and CEO. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.
